Strengthening and scaling computer vision within an integrated AI platform
Datacation B.V. today announces the acquisition of Airvision, a provider of AI and computer vision solutions. Airvision's platform is established in industrial asset inspection, with clear potential to extend into a much wider range of applications as computer vision becomes embedded in more physical and digital environments. The Airvision platform and team will be incorporated into Datacation and continue to develop and scale existing solutions.
For clients, the acquisition expands what each side currently offers. Datacation clients gain direct access to a proven computer vision platform and the team behind it. Airvision customers keep the same service they work with today, with the option to draw on a wider bench of data engineering, generative AI, machine learning, and analytics capabilities as their needs grow.
The strategic logic is straightforward: computer vision is rarely a standalone solution. Most real-world applications depend on data pipelines, models, and analytics working together, and the range of those applications is widening rapidly, well beyond classical industrial use cases, into new domains where vision is becoming a core capability for physical systems. Bringing Airvision into Datacation puts the underlying capabilities under one roof, which fits the company's ambition to support clients from AI strategy through to deployment and management in production.
